Block 5 (Wadi Aswad) is in western Oman, 275 kilometres from the capital Muscat. It is close to PDO's prolific Lekhwair field and adjacent to Occidental's Wadi Latham fields in Block 9. The area contains around 10 producing fields - with the majority of production from Daleel.
