Sleipner Condensate Pipeline and Terminal

Report summary
The Sleipner Condensate Pipeline transports condensate and NGL from the Sleipner Øst platform to the Statpipe processing terminal at Kårstø. At Kårstø, the unstabilised condensate is processed and stored for onward transport. The pipeline and terminal development was approved in December 1989. The pipeline's landfall point is Kårstø, where rich gas from Statpipe and the Åsgard Transporation System is also landed. The Sleipner to Kårstø leg is 225 kilometres long and the pipeline has been laid across the Norwegian Trench. This part of the pipeline was laid in 1992 in conjunction with Zeepipe phase I.
