Pearl Petroleum operates the giant liquids-rich non-associated Khor Mor gas field, located 140 kilometres southeast of Erbil, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). The field was put on production for a short time in 1990 by North Oil Company to supply gas to the country's north gas network. Production ceased during the 1991 Gulf War.
