Report summary
The Singa gas field is the only onstream field in the Lematang PSC. Harimau, the first producing field on block, ceased in 2010. The Singa field primarily supplies power generation and fertiliser companies in South Sumatra. Gas sales agreements for the PSC gas are grouped along with the larger, Medco-operated South Sumatra PSC. The Singa facilities are designed to accommodate high pressure, temperature, and CO2. Raw gas with a CO2 content of 32-38% is processed through parallel amine and membrane units capable of processing 25 mmcfd each. The facility also includes an incineration system to eliminate H2S. In April 2017, a 10-year licence extension was awarded to Medco Energi.
