La Yesera is a small oil and gas field located in the eastern Neuquina Basin. The field was brought onstream by ChevronTexaco in 2002, with oil being trucked to the nearby processing plant at Loma Negra . Chevron deployed an oil evacuation pipeline in 2004 that allowed for a broader field development. Currently, all production is processed at the Loma Negra facility.
