The Franpipe pipeline (formerly known as Norfra) was constructed in response to an increasing demand for gas in continental Europe, particularly France, Spain and Belgium. Access to the pipeline is from the Draupner gas transportation hub, from where Zeepipe, Statpipe and Europipe diverge. Franpipe extends from the Draupner E riser platform to the receiving gas terminal in Dunkirk, France.
