Report summary

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) canceled its licensing round in October 2024. The country's first licensing round was launched in 2022 and offered 27 oil blocks and three gas blocks. DRC awarded the three gas blocks in January 2023, however only two PSCs were signed in September 2023. The oil blocks received minimal interest. DRC extended the deadline multiple times.
