The Bruce Area comprises the Bruce, Keith and Rhum fields in the Northern North Sea. Discovered in 1974, the complex Bruce gas-condensate field was developed in phases, involving platform and subsea developments. Production started in 1993. The Keith oil and gas field, discovered in 1983, was developed as a subsea tie-back to Bruce. Keith was brought onstream in 2000.
