Operated by Yichun Tantalum and Niobium Mine Co Ltd, 414 Mine is a lithium mineral operation located in Jiangxi, China. The 414 Mine, also referred to as the Yichun Tantalum & Niobium Mine, produces lithium as a by-product. Lithium mineralisation at the deposit is in the form of lepidolite and zinnwaldite. Operations began in 1977 with a designed capacity of 495 ktpy of ore – this has since been expanded to 2.31 Mtpy. Total M+I resources are 143.51Mt @ 0.384% Li2O. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
