Report summary
April TTF prices reached $9.2/mmbtu, their highest level since early February, before softening back to $8.5/mmbtu. European gas demand was much weaker (-16%) than the previous week, loosening the overall balance. Output at Aasta Hansteen in Norway will be reduced until at least 25 March due to compressor failure. European gas inventories sit at 59%, comfortably above last year’s level of 56%.
