Brule is a suspended metallurgical coal mine that produced ultra-low-vol PCI coal for international markets. Brule is located in northeast British Colombia, Canada. The mine, owned and operated by Conuma Coal, reopened in 2016 after the company purchased the asset from Walter Energy. We assume the mine produced 1.5 million tons in 2024 and shipped through Ridley Terminal, located near Prince Rupert, British Colombia. From 2025 onwards, the mine will be put into care and maintenance.
