Shin is the Principal Analyst for Wood Mackenzie’s Hydrogen Research Team, focusing on strategic outlooks for hydrogen and ammonia. He has 20 years of experience in the energy industry, with deep expertise in both fossil fuels, primarily LNG, and new energies centered around liquefied hydrogen. He possesses the knowledge necessary for the energy transition.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, he worked at Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Kansai Electric Power as a manager. He was involved in a wide range of tasks related to the creation of an international supply chain for liquefied hydrogen, primarily focused on Australia. Additionally, he handled various practical tasks from an operational perspective, including LNG shipping schedules (ADP) and short-term LNG trading.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Doshisha University in Japan.
