Rashika Gupta is the Vice President of Research for Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables team. With over 18 years of experience in energy markets, she brings deep expertise in economic and policy assessment, power and fuel market analysis, power trading, energy management, and environmental policy analysis across India and the Asia-Pacific region.

Rashika currently leads Wood Mackenzie’s South Asia Power & Renewables team, overseeing India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, while also heading the APAC power modeling team. Her leadership is focused on driving insights that inform critical decisions for the power sector in these fast-evolving markets.

Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Rashika held senior roles at S&P Global Commodity Insights, Statkraft Markets, and ICF International, where she worked on a wide range of consulting and commercial projects. She has partnered with independent power producers, investors, private equity funds, power utilities, energy majors, industrial consumers, and government bodies to shape their business strategies and guide key commercial decisions.
