
Michelle is the head of Global Solar at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables. She leads our solar research practice, setting the research agenda, identifying emerging industry themes and cultivating a team of solar thought leaders. She is also the lead author of the quarterly publication of the US Solar Market Insight report, produced in collaboration with SEIA (the Solar Energy Industries Association).
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Michelle held various research positions focused on renewable energy, covering topics ranging from the energy-water nexus to utility investments in electric vehicle charging stations. She is a prominent thought leader in the solar industry and has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, NPR and Forbes, among others.
Michelle is the co-chapter leader for WRISE Arizona, a networking organisation dedicated to empowering women in renewable energy.
