Kárys is responsible for analysis of the Latin American wind power market, based on original quantitative and qualitative research. She focuses on market developments, future growth scenarios and supply chain dynamics across the region.
Kárys has built both academic and corporate experience in the power sector. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, as a senior analyst at Neoenergia, she focused on sustainability involving power generation, transmission, distribution and commercialisation. Before that, she participated in research projects including renewables integration in Brazil and climate risk management focused on wind power. She also spent four years in the environmental consulting sector.
