Johann leads our metals and mining consulting practice in the Americas, working with an experienced team to help clients address some of their most critical commercial and strategic questions in the context of the energy transition. The team delivers deep analytical commercial and strategic insights and actionable advice to support their clients’ best decision-making on opportunity identification and screening, investments, risk management, market fundamentals and pricing, industry and energy market evolution, policy, etc.
Johann has more than 20 years of experience in the energy and natural resources space. Over his tenure, he has advised clients such as major and junior mining companies, national and private O&G companies, private equity firms, banks and other financial institutions, aluminum and steel producers, infrastructure operators and investors, governments and others.
Johann has a strong energy and natural resources-focused background and has held senior consulting positions with Accenture and Schlumberger Business Consulting before he joined Wood Mackenzie in 2017. He has significant global experience and spent more than 15 years advising clients in Latin America.
