
Aruna joined Wood Mackenzie in July 2024 and is based in Singapore. She works closely with Asian clients, advising on several aspects of upstream oil and gas, including corporate strategic planning, portfolio advisory, capabilities improvement, M&A, and carbon management. Aruna has a passion and deep interest in the energy business and very much enjoys working with clients to address their challenges and provide solutions.
Prior to Wood Mackenzie, Aruna has over 20 years of upstream oil and gas operational experience where she held various subsurface, commercial and managerial roles across the Americas, Caribbean and Europe regions, influencing and advising across disciplines and cultures. She has a standout track record of commercial value creation by discovering and monetising resources. She carried out technical and commercial evaluations in more than 25 sedimentary basins worldwide, participated in over 30 asset and bid round opportunities and managed projects that led to multi-tcf and billion-barrel hydrocarbon discoveries.
