Mansur is the Head of West Africa Upstream, Sub-Saharan Africa Oil & Gas for Wood Mackenzie. He is responsible for the upstream research delivery and industry stakeholder engagement for the region.
In his role, Mansur has delivered pivotal advisory projects for a diverse range of stakeholders, including IOCs, NOCs, asset operators, financial institutions, and service sector customers. His contributions span across strategy, valuations, opportunity screening, transaction support, investment attraction, and market analysis across the oil and gas value chain.
He joined Wood Mackenzie in 2008 as a research analyst in the Sub-Sahara Africa upstream team, where he built his expertise as the lead analyst for a number of countries. Over the years, Mansur led the strategic management of the upstream research teams covering Western Africa as well as the Southern and East Africa region.
Education
Mansur graduated with a Master’s degree in Oil & Gas Economics from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP), at the University of Dundee
